Leapmotor is a Hangzhou start-up founded in December 2015 and listed in Hong Kong. Stellantis bought into it in October 2023, and since then exports have run through Leapmotor International, a joint venture owned 51% by Stellantis and 49% by Leapmotor (Wikipedia — Leapmotor; MGR Online, 2026-10-30). Thailand started as a Stellantis-appointed distributor arrangement with the PNA dealer group. Two years later Leapmotor took the market in-house. Thai press call this "บริษัทแม่มาเอง" ("the parent company comes in itself"). The new company names Thailand as its hub for South-East Asia and other right-hand-drive markets (Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).

Thai spelling. The registered company name is ลีปมอเตอร์ ("บริษัท ลีปมอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด" — Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18, Thansettakij). 9carthai writes ลีพมอเตอร์ (9carthai — B10).

Distribution & business

PNA era (Sep 2024 – Sep 2026). Stellantis gave the Leapmotor marketing rights for Thailand to the Phra Nakorn Yontrakarn (PNA) dealer group. Plans at the time were a flagship showroom in a former Mazda site opposite Tung Chang, 11–12 dealers in year one, a ฿150–200 m first-year marketing budget and one new model a year (Headlightmag, 2024-09-21). PNA launched the C10 (Nov 2024) and the B10 (Oct 2025). It says it invested over ฿150 m in the brand (interview, 2026-10-01). The English legal name in the international press release is "Phra Nakorn Automobile Co., Ltd." (ClubAlfa, 2025-10-20).

Leapmotor Thailand era (from 2026-09-30). Leapmotor China registered LEAPMOTOR (THAILAND) CO., LTD. on 2026-07-06. The listed director is Jun Xu, Leapmotor SVP and COO (Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18). Liam Liu (Liu Ning) is general manager of Leapmotor Thailand (interview, electrive, Thairath). Leapmotor Thailand bought back dealer stock and took over the 15 existing dealers. PNA stays on as a dealer with two outlets, Ratchayothin and Lat Phrao 101 (interview, electrive). The B03X launch on 2026-10-30 was the company's first public event. Li Tengfei, Leapmotor VP and CFO, attended, and actress Om Kornnaphat was named B03X ambassador (Thairath, Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).

Sales. About 450 C10 and B10 combined over two years under PNA (electrive, Thansettakij). The DLT registration split Autolifethailand reports is C10 202 units (Jan 2025 – Aug 2026) and B10 260 units (Nov 2025 – Aug 2026) (Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18). Targets: 3,000–5,000 units in 2026 (mostly B03X; first batch 2,000 units, target 2,000 a month), then 10,000 in 2027 with at least two more models (interview, electrive).

Local assembly — planned, not decided. Four options are under study: contract assembly, a joint venture, buying or leasing an existing plant, or a new build. Initial capacity would be 60,000–80,000 a year (electrive, interview). On 2026-10-30 Leapmotor said it aims to decide in 2026, build in 2027 and finish in late 2027. Phase 1 would serve the domestic market, starting with the B03X. The local-content goal is 70–80%. Timing depends on the pending excise rules for CBU EVs (Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).

Sources: Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18 (office), interview, 2026-10-01 and electrive (PNA outlets). The other dealers (19 sites in total per Thairath) are [unverified]: no primary list was found. Zigwheels' dealer page is an aggregator and is not used.

Service centers

No per-site list was found [unverified]. Leapmotor Thailand counts 19 combined dealer and service sites (Thairath). It plans a Thai parts warehouse that delivers parts to dealers within 24–48 hours (interview). A separate technical service centre is [unverified]: neither the interview nor the 2026-10-30 brand-launch article mentions one (fact-check, 2026-11-03).

Charging network partners

No public-network partnership announced [unverified]. Under PNA, the C10 launch package and the B10 Style and Design came with a free home wall charger including installation (Autolifethailand — C10 launch, Autolifethailand — B10, 2026-01-19, Motorist, 2026-08-19). The B03X launch offer does not list a wallbox (Headlightmag).

Warranty terms

Current (announced 2026-10-30, all models, existing customers included):

  • Vehicle: 8 years / 150,000 km
  • High-voltage battery, drive motor and electric control system: lifetime ("ตลอดอายุการใช้งาน", conditions apply)
  • Roadside assistance: 24 h (B03X launch package)

Sources: Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30, Thairath, Headlightmag — B03X, MGR Online. Conflict: in the 2026-10-01 interview the vehicle term was 8 years / 160,000 km. The launch-day statements above all say 150,000 km, and that figure is used here.

Previous (PNA era, C10 and B10): vehicle 5 years / 100,000 km; HV battery 8 years / 160,000 km; 24 h roadside assistance 5 years (Autolifethailand — C10, 2026-01-19, Motorist — B10). The C10 launch package also included 5 years of free maintenance (Autolifethailand — C10 launch).

Lineage & platform

  • Generation: first-generation C10, international version. China launch 2024; Thai launch 2024-11-28.
  • Origin: CBU import from China (Autolifethailand, 2026-01-19).
  • Architecture: [unverified] — no Thai source states the voltage.
  • Powertrain in Thailand: BEV only. The C10 REEV (1.5-litre range extender) exists abroad (Headlightmag — C10 REEV) but has never been offered in Thailand. Every Thai price article lists only the BEV.

C10 Design (RWD, 69.9 kWh) — ฿898,000

Pricing. ฿898,000 has been the Thai price since 2025-10-20. It was first a ฿200,000 "special price" cut from ฿1,098,000 (Autolifethailand, 2025-10-20). It was then confirmed as the official 2026 price (Autolifethailand, 2026-01-19) and restated on 2026-09-18 (Autolifethailand). B10 — compact five-seat electric SUV

A 4.5 m SUV co-developed with Stellantis, launched in Thailand on 2025-10-10, its first ASEAN market (ClubAlfa press release). It shares the C10's 160 kW / 218 PS rear motor but carries a smaller LFP pack.

Lineage & platform

  • Generation: first-generation B10 (global 2025). A China 2027 model-year update is [unverified]: the Wikipedia page re-checked on 2026-11-03 does not mention one. Nothing of the kind is announced for Thailand.
  • Origin: CBU from China (Autolifethailand, 2026-01-19). Myanmar SKD assembly began in March 2026 (Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18), but no source says Thai cars come from there.
  • Battery: CATL LFP (Autolifethailand, 2026-01-19).
  • Architecture: [unverified].
  • Powertrain in Thailand: BEV only. No B10 REEV is offered.

Lineup events

Date Event Notes
2025-10-10 Launch Life / Style / Design list ฿698,000 / ฿758,000 / ฿798,000; launch price ฿10,000 lower (฿688,000 / ฿748,000 / ฿788,000) for the first 1,010 units (Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, ClubAlfa press release)
2026-01-19 Price held List ฿698,000 / ฿758,000 / ฿798,000 confirmed as the regular 2026 price after the intro period (Autolifethailand, Sanook, 2026-01-22)

2026-10-30 Warranty upgrade 8 years / 150,000 km vehicle; lifetime battery, motor and e-control (Autolifethailand)

Launch-price conflict. Headlightmag says the ฿10,000-lower prices covered the first 1,010 units. Autolifethailand and the press release say ฿10,000 off for the first 1,000 bookings. Sanook (2025-10-10) printed Life ฿698,000 / Style ฿758,000 / Design ฿788,000, mixing the two price sets. Paultan and Autobuzz quoted the discounted set as the price (aggregator-tier leads). The list prices used here are the set that Autolifethailand (2026-01-19) and Motorist (2026-08-19) independently confirm.

[verify] On 2026-10-01 Leapmotor Thailand said B10/C10 pricing was under review (interview). No new price was found by 2026-11-03.

B03X — small electric SUV (B-SUV)

The first product launched by Leapmotor Thailand itself and its volume model. It is the overseas version of the China-market A10: same body and LFP batteries, but a stronger powertrain (cnevpost, 2026-07-07). Wikipedia and Headlightmag list the car as "A10/B03X" (Wikipedia — Leapmotor, Headlightmag — A10/B03X, 2026-05-11). The China A10 has 95 / 122 PS and 150 Nm (Headlightmag, CLTC 403 / 505 km). The Thai B03X has 177 / 197 PS and 200 Nm, so China A10 specs must not be used for Thai trims. The Thai price was announced on 2026-10-30. The first planned local assembly would start with this model.

Lineage & platform

  • Generation: first generation. B03X announced for Europe in July 2026 (cnevpost). The China A10 launch date is [unverified].
  • Origin: CBU from China (Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online). The first batch is 2,000 units (interview).
  • Battery: LFP, 39.8 or 53.0 kWh.
  • Architecture: [unverified].

Lineup events

Date Event Notes
2026-10-30 Price announced / launch Style ฿549,000 and Design ฿609,000 list; early-bird ฿499,000 and ฿569,000 for the first 3,000 bookings (Headlightmag, Thairath, EVMoD). Launch offers to 2026-11-30

Leapmotor had announced 2026-10-31 as the official launch date (interview, electrive). Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online and EVMoD all published the official prices on 2026-10-30, and that date is used as the launch date.

Pricing. Headlightmag: launch special price "จำกัดเฉพาะ 3,000 คันแรก" (limited to the first 3,000 units); regular prices ฿549,000–609,000, 40,000–50,000 baht above the launch price depending on trim (Headlightmag). Thairath gives the same per-trim pairs: regular ฿549,000 / ฿609,000, early bird ฿499,000 / ฿569,000 for the first 3,000 customers who book (Thairath). EVMoD (lead) agrees per trim. Grandprix's headline also describes an early-bird price for the first 3,000 bookings (seen in search results; the site disallows AI crawlers, so it was not fetched). Autolifethailand and MGR Online print ฿499,000 / ฿569,000 as the "official price" without the 3,000-unit condition (Autolifethailand, MGR Online). Thansettakij prints Design at ฿549,000, which matches no other source and is treated as an error (Thansettakij).

Trim names. "Style" and "Design" per Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online and EVMoD. Thairath and Thansettakij call the entry trim "Life". Style is used.

Launch offers (to 2026-11-30): free first-class insurance with compulsory insurance, free registration, floor mats and window film; 24 h roadside assistance (Thairath, Headlightmag).

Suspension MacPherson front, torsion beam rear Autolifethailand
Airbags 7 Autolifethailand

Power units. Thai sources give 177 / 197 "hp" (Autolifethailand, MGR) or "PS" (Headlightmag), with no kW. cnevpost gives a single figure for the European B03X: 145 kW (194 hp), which is 197 PS and matches the Thai Design (cnevpost). No source gives kW for the 39.8 kWh car. 130 kW for the Style is a unit conversion of Headlightmag's 177 PS (177 × 0.7355 = 130.2 kW), were mechanical hp, as Autolifethailand and MGR write it, the Style would be 132 kW, so 130 kW is [unverified].

Range. Thai figures are NEDC only. The European WLTP figures (292 / 382 km) are for the European specification and are not used.

2026-11-03 — adversarial re-check. Every cited Thai source behind a re-opened: Headlightmag (C10, B10, B03X, PNA appointment, A10/B03X), Autolifethailand (C10 launch, C10 Oct 2025 cut, C10 and B10 2026 price lists, B10 launch, 2026-09-18 registration, 2026-10-01 interview, 2026-10-30 brand launch, B03X price), Thairath, Thansettakij, MGR Online, Sanook (95507, 96583, 96587, 97628), Ridebuster, Motorist, ranges match their sources, and every range is NEDC. Corrections:

  • B03X Style 130 kW is a unit conversion from 177 PS, not a published figure. cnevpost gives one figure, 145 kW. Now marked ◐ / [unverified].
  • B03X seat count: MGR Online does not say "5-seat". No Thai source states the count, so it is now ◐.
  • B03X 215/50 R18 tyres are listed for the Style only, so they are no longer applied to the Design.
  • B03X is the overseas version of the A10 with a different powertrain, not simply its export name.
  • C10 brakes are ventilated at the front only, not all round.
  • Wikipedia does not mention a B10 2027 model-year update. The claim is now [unverified].
  • A "technical service centre" is not in either cited source, so it is now [unverified].
  • T03 DLT registrations are now cited to the DLT open-data resource.
  • B10 Style's last per-trim price confirmation is Motorist (2026-08-19). The 2026-09-18 article gives only a range.
  • Thansettakij does not state the company's registration date, capital, ownership, stock buy-back or dealer count. Those facts come from Autolifethailand (2026-09-18 and the 2026-10-01 interview), which are now the cited sources for them.

Not re-checked: ClubAlfa press release, Motor Expo (C10 Kinetix), Autolifethailand Motor Expo 2026 booth plan, the Headlightmag C10 spec-photo article, EVMoD and Grandprix (leads), and the full equipment lists item by item (the ADAS and B03X trim splits were spot-checked).
