Leapmotor is a Hangzhou start-up founded in December 2015 and listed in Hong Kong. Stellantis bought into it in October 2023, and since then exports have run through Leapmotor International, a joint venture owned 51% by Stellantis and 49% by Leapmotor (Wikipedia — Leapmotor; MGR Online, 2026-10-30). Thailand started as a Stellantis-appointed distributor arrangement with the PNA dealer group. Two years later Leapmotor took the market in-house. Thai press call this "บริษัทแม่มาเอง" ("the parent company comes in itself"). The new company names Thailand as its hub for South-East Asia and other right-hand-drive markets (Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).
Thai spelling. The registered company name is ลีปมอเตอร์ ("บริษัท ลีปมอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด" — Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18, Thansettakij). 9carthai writes ลีพมอเตอร์ (9carthai — B10).
Distribution & business
PNA era (Sep 2024 – Sep 2026). Stellantis gave the Leapmotor marketing rights for Thailand to the Phra Nakorn Yontrakarn (PNA) dealer group. Plans at the time were a flagship showroom in a former Mazda site opposite Tung Chang, 11–12 dealers in year one, a ฿150–200 m first-year marketing budget and one new model a year (Headlightmag, 2024-09-21). PNA launched the C10 (Nov 2024) and the B10 (Oct 2025). It says it invested over ฿150 m in the brand (interview, 2026-10-01). The English legal name in the international press release is "Phra Nakorn Automobile Co., Ltd." (ClubAlfa, 2025-10-20).
Leapmotor Thailand era (from 2026-09-30). Leapmotor China registered LEAPMOTOR (THAILAND) CO., LTD. on 2026-07-06. The listed director is Jun Xu, Leapmotor SVP and COO (Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18). Liam Liu (Liu Ning) is general manager of Leapmotor Thailand (interview, electrive, Thairath). Leapmotor Thailand bought back dealer stock and took over the 15 existing dealers. PNA stays on as a dealer with two outlets, Ratchayothin and Lat Phrao 101 (interview, electrive). The B03X launch on 2026-10-30 was the company's first public event. Li Tengfei, Leapmotor VP and CFO, attended, and actress Om Kornnaphat was named B03X ambassador (Thairath, Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).
Sales. About 450 C10 and B10 combined over two years under PNA (electrive, Thansettakij). The DLT registration split Autolifethailand reports is C10 202 units (Jan 2025 – Aug 2026) and B10 260 units (Nov 2025 – Aug 2026) (Autolifethailand, 2026-09-18). Targets: 3,000–5,000 units in 2026 (mostly B03X; first batch 2,000 units, target 2,000 a month), then 10,000 in 2027 with at least two more models (interview, electrive).
Local assembly — planned, not decided. Four options are under study: contract assembly, a joint venture, buying or leasing an existing plant, or a new build. Initial capacity would be 60,000–80,000 a year (electrive, interview). On 2026-10-30 Leapmotor said it aims to decide in 2026, build in 2027 and finish in late 2027. Phase 1 would serve the domestic market, starting with the B03X. The local-content goal is 70–80%. Timing depends on the pending excise rules for CBU EVs (Autolifethailand, 2026-10-30).

Launch-price conflict. Headlightmag says the ฿10,000-lower prices covered the first 1,010 units. Autolifethailand and the press release say ฿10,000 off for the first 1,000 bookings. Sanook (2025-10-10) printed Life ฿698,000 / Style ฿758,000 / Design ฿788,000, mixing the two price sets. Paultan and Autobuzz quoted the discounted set as the price (aggregator-tier leads). The list prices used here are the set that Autolifethailand (2026-01-19) and Motorist (2026-08-19) independently confirm.
[verify] On 2026-10-01 Leapmotor Thailand said B10/C10 pricing was
under review
(interview).
No new price was found by 2026-11-03.

B03X — small electric SUV (B-SUV)
The first product launched by Leapmotor Thailand itself and its volume model. It is the overseas version of the China-market A10: same body and LFP batteries, but a stronger powertrain (cnevpost, 2026-07-07). Wikipedia and Headlightmag list the car as "A10/B03X" (Wikipedia — Leapmotor, Headlightmag — A10/B03X, 2026-05-11). The China A10 has 95 / 122 PS and 150 Nm (Headlightmag, CLTC 403 / 505 km). The Thai B03X has 177 / 197 PS and 200 Nm, so China A10 specs must not be used for Thai trims. The Thai price was announced on 2026-10-30. The first planned local assembly would start with this model.
Lineage & platform
- Generation: first generation. B03X announced for Europe in July
2026 (cnevpost).
The China A10 launch date is
[unverified]. - Origin: CBU from China (Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online). The first batch is 2,000 units (interview).
- Battery: LFP, 39.8 or 53.0 kWh.

| 2026-10-30 | Price announced / launch | Style ฿549,000 and Design ฿609,000 list; early-bird ฿499,000 and ฿569,000 for the first 3,000 bookings (Headlightmag, Thairath, EVMoD). Launch offers to 2026-11-30 |
Leapmotor had announced 2026-10-31 as the official launch date (interview, electrive). Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online and EVMoD all published the official prices on 2026-10-30, and that date is used as the launch date.
Pricing. Headlightmag: launch special price "จำกัดเฉพาะ 3,000 คันแรก" (limited to the first 3,000 units); regular prices ฿549,000–609,000, 40,000–50,000 baht above the launch price depending on trim (Headlightmag). Thairath gives the same per-trim pairs: regular ฿549,000 / ฿609,000, early bird ฿499,000 / ฿569,000 for the first 3,000 customers who book (Thairath). EVMoD (lead) agrees per trim. Grandprix's headline also describes an early-bird price for the first 3,000 bookings (seen in search results; the site disallows AI crawlers, so it was not fetched). Autolifethailand and MGR Online print ฿499,000 / ฿569,000 as the "official price" without the 3,000-unit condition (Autolifethailand, MGR Online). Thansettakij prints Design at ฿549,000, which matches no other source and is treated as an error (Thansettakij).
Trim names. "Style" and "Design" per Headlightmag, Autolifethailand, MGR Online and EVMoD. Thairath and Thansettakij call the entry trim "Life". Style is used.
Launch offers (to 2026-11-30): free first-class insurance with compulsory insurance, free registration, floor mats and window film; 24 h roadside assistance (Thairath, Headlightmag).

| Suspension | MacPherson front, torsion beam rear | Autolifethailand |
| Airbags | 7 | Autolifethailand |
Power units. Thai sources give 177 / 197 "hp" (Autolifethailand,
MGR) or "PS" (Headlightmag), with no kW. cnevpost gives a single
figure for the European B03X: 145 kW (194 hp), which is 197 PS and
matches the Thai Design
(cnevpost).
No source gives kW for the 39.8 kWh car. 130 kW for the Style is a
unit conversion of Headlightmag's 177 PS (177 × 0.7355 = 130.2 kW),
were mechanical hp, as Autolifethailand and MGR write it, the Style
would be 132 kW, so 130 kW is [unverified].
Range. Thai figures are NEDC only. The European WLTP figures (292 / 382 km) are for the European specification and are not used.
