Maserati is a low-volume ultra-luxury brand in Thailand. It sold 50
cars (all models) in Thailand in 2024, per Piyathep Sivakas
(Autolifethailand, 2025-02-25).
Official DLT first-registration open data (Jan 2022 – Jan 2026, read
source dlt-gdcatalog, on 2026-11-03; months 2022-09, 2022-10,
2024-06, 2024-09 and 2024-11 are missing from that capture) shows:
- GRECALE FOLGORE: 4 — one each in May, June, July and November 2025.
- GRANTURISMO FOLGORE: 2 — one each in November 2025 and January 2026.
- GranCabrio Folgore: none.
Every other Maserati row is combustion or hybrid (mostly Levante).
Signs the Folgore range is still marketed in 2026:
- Maserati exhibited at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show (2026-03-25 to 04-05), sharing booth A7 with XPeng, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Jeep under MGC-ASIA, per the organiser's booth plan (Autolifethailand, 2026-03-09).
- The GranTurismo Folgore won Best Super Sport EV at Car of the Year 2026 (judged by TSAE and Grand Prix International). GM Piyathep Sivakas collected the award at the ceremony at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani (Checkraka, 2026-03-13 — an aggregator republishing Maserati Thailand's release, so ◐).
- A GranTurismo Folgore was first-registered in January 2026 (DLT, above).
Thai spelling. Thai press writes the brand มาเซราติ ("มาเซราติ ประเทศไทย" — Headlightmag; "'Made in Thunder' มาเซราติ" — Autolifethailand). Headlightmag spells the Grecale Folgore เกรคาเล โฟลกอเร in its official-price article's page title (Headlightmag). Autolifethailand spells the GranTurismo Folgore กรันทูริสโม โฟลกอเร (Autolifethailand) and the GranCabrio Folgore กรันคาบริโอ โฟลกอเร (Autolifethailand); Headlightmag writes the latter "กรันคาบริโอ โฟลกอเร่" (Headlightmag).
Distribution & business
Modena Motorwork is named as sole official importer and distributor in both Autolifethailand official-price articles (2024, 2025).
MGC-ASIA link (◐). Three Thai sources put Maserati Thailand inside MGC-ASIA (Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) PCL):
- Thansettakij (2023-05-18): "MODENA MOTORWORK ในเครือ MGC-ASIA". It also said the Grecale Folgore and GranTurismo Folgore would come to the Bangkok Motor Show 2024 (Thansettakij).
- Headlightmag (2025-02-25) calls MGC-ASIA itself the sole official importer and distributor of Maserati in Thailand (Headlightmag).
- The BIMS 2026 booth plan lists Maserati in MGC-ASIA's shared booth (Autolifethailand, 2026-03-09). Maserati Thailand also exhibited at the MGC-ASIA Mobility Expo 2025 (Autolifethailand, 2025-09-26).
The legal structure is unconfirmed: MGC-ASIA's own list of subsidiaries and associates (as of 2025-12-31) does not name Modena Motorwork (mgc-asia.com), and the 2025 expo article describes "in-group and partner brands" without saying which Maserati is.
In February 2023 Maserati Thailand called 2023 its 6th year in the Thai market and planned the Grecale Folgore for the second half of 2023 (Headlightmag, 2023-02-07). It was actually priced in March 2024, during BIMS 2024.
Global context (not Thai facts): Headlightmag reported in June 2026 that BYD was interested in buying Maserati (Headlightmag, 2026-06-09). Maserati is on neither the Motor Expo 2026 (2026-12-02 to 12-13) exhibitor list nor its explicit "not attending" list, per the organiser's data as of 2026-11-02 (Autolifethailand booth plan, re-read 2026-11-03).

Trims
GranCabrio Folgore (tri-motor AWD) — launch ฿14,900,000 (2025-02-25)
Pricing. "ราคาอย่างเป็นทางการ Maserati GranCabrio Folgore รถไฟฟ้า100%
เริ่มต้น 14,900,000 บาท", CBU Italy
(Autolifethailand, 2025-02-25).
Headlightmag independently gives "GranCabrio Folgore EV : เริ่มต้น
14,900,000 บาท" the same day
(Headlightmag, 2025-02-25),
and a second Autolifethailand article quotes the same figure from
Maserati Thailand's launch briefing
(Autolifethailand).
2026 price [unverified].
Note: the Autolifethailand article's powertrain heading reads "GranTurismo Folgore", apparently copied from the coupé article. The figures differ from the coupé's (2.8 s, 290 km/h, 445 km), so they are treated as GranCabrio figures. Headlightmag's Thai price article agrees on 2.8 s, 445 km WLTP, 92.5 / 83 kWh and 22 / 270 kW, but prints a 320 km/h top speed (the coupé's figure, apparently copied); its 2026 global article gives 290 km/h for the GranCabrio Folgore.
